Having a clever design team can make all the difference, as in the case of this home. The original home had a partial floor underneath and required significant foundations to support it.

During the design phase, we discussed the Engineering requirements with the builder and worked out that the basement foundation could be extended to the back of the house cheaper than partially rebuilding it. This led to the opportunity to create not one dwelling, but two homes within the footprint of the existing structure for our client, allowing him to have a home and income too.

A challenging project, we are very proud of what we have achieved for our client, enabling him to not only be back on the land he loves but to have more than he could have dreamed of as a result of rebuilding.
