The North West facing site has uninterrupted views to the Kaikoura Range and the estuary.

Our brief was to design a home which had all bedrooms facing the view and easy parking on this difficult site.

Layering the house down the hill, over three levels, we created a central access down to the main living areas which then roll out to the flat flat lawn and finally lead to the pool; all easily seen and controlled by the kitchen.

An outdoor fire and entertainment area is connected off the Eastern side of the house to provide shelter from the Nor' Wester and shade from the summer sun.
